Exhaust Brake with Stock Torque Converter

Does anyone run an exhaust brake with the stock torque convertor?

I am looking at purchasing a 95 with an auto. It has an exhaust brake already installed. I have no way of telling if the torque converter is stock or it was upgraded when the brake was installed. The previous owner used it to pull a fifth wheel; but, other than that I have no history on the truck. The truck is in excellent shape with low mileage and is a great deal if the tranny and converter will hold up.

A brake on a stock auto is a bad idea. The stock TC is so loose that you won't get mch braking power, and it WILL help to cook the trans.
