EGT Problems Need Advise!!!
Anyone having this problem? I posted it on the performance & accessories area. New to this site so I'm just figuring things out here . Anyway here is my problem. Within the last week and a half I've noticed my EGT gauge was kinda funky. Isspro Gauge: Hwy Driving at 100km(cruise on for consistant speed) RPM 1800, Fuel Pressure 12 , Oil pressure 65PSI, Boost 5, Temperature Outside -15C , Engine Temp Normal, EGT reading 700-750 for approx. 10 minutes then climbs to 1000-1100 then settles in at 950. Road conditions flat as a pancake. I've checked cooler boots O.K. Checked K&N filter Good, Checked all connections for Pyro & Gauge Good, Probe is positioned correctly as I installed it in July and up until now has been good. The real funny thing is later in the day when the outside temp warms up the gauge was reading about 800-850. I'm worried about this as I don't want to damage my baby. All wiring for EGT gauge is ty-wrapped and secure no wires rubbing or moving around. The only thing I can think of that I have done differently in the last week or so is I got fuel from a different station that I otherwise don't buy from. Also I have changed my fuel filter in the past week and that did not help either. 02 H.O Cummins 2500 4X4

well your leaving me to guess a little, if the guage has been there awhile and reading ok and your not filled with GAS my guess is some part of your guage failed.....remove sender and test it in with heat gun and accurate thermomter

I've got an ISSPRO EV that reads all over the place- sometimes with the engine off it will read 1200, sometimes it will frantically wave at me.
Still waiting for replacement. Maybe you should verify your serial no. with the vendor.
