ECU codes/power loss
I currently have codes 230, 234, 380. Code 234, I think is turbo boost exceeded. The truck seems to be sluggish off the line, when in throttle hard, but picks up after a second. Once up to 2200 rpm, engine has a very slight stutter, and barely climbs to 2600 rpm. New FASS is holding 18psi at idle, 10 psi at W.O.T. Clean K/N filter. Any idea what will cause code 234? Is this code causing my power loss?
Thanks.
Thanks.

If you are not running something with a boost fooler it could be a stuck wastegate on the turbo. I had that problem under warranty and they replaced the turbo. Again last winter I had a stuck waste gate but it was stuck open and the shop I took it to was able to free it up.

Thanks k-bit.
Waste-gate was siezed partially open. Fabricated new pivot sleeve, and pin, pressed it into housing and welded to existing valve arm. Valve works great now, and power has been restored above 2200 to 3000 rpm.
