Door locks, doors, windows, seats all freeze in the teens,
is there anything that doesn't freeze at -70?

The coldest my 91 has seen is -70° in East central. I left it run with the heater plugged in overnight.

Does diesel brands/types effect mileage? I try to stay as far away as I can from 'Bio Diesel' I am told it's not good for our Dodges
I've heard that it doesn't make a difference and all fuels come from the same place but from my experience I get a couple more mpgs from BP vs the 7/11, Sunoco, and Shell. I got better when I could get B20 but it's not available around me anymore.
Also up until last year my BP showed 45 cetane when everyone else had the 40 c stickers. Now they are all 40.

I use a silicon spray lube on door and window seals to keep them from freezing together. At 70 below, even the huskies dig in and huddle.

Thank the EPA for their consistency (fail).

I have a 2001 4wd/automatic, since I changed my VP44 a few weeks ago, I have been trying to stick with BP diesel.

Not sure if it's the VP the fuel or both. I took a trip last weekend, 1300 miles, drove 75MPH and the onboard computer says 20.5 MPG

The best the truck ever got before at 75 MPH was 18.8 to 19 MPG and for a long time even lower.
