DIY:Replacing Alternator (Help & Sugestions)

So I'll be tackling an Alternator RR in the morning on my '99.
Any tips, suggestions, links or other helpful hints are welcome.
What tools are needed?

This is kinda my plan of atack.

-Disconnect batteries
-Remove tension from the belt (I'm assuming there is some kinda belt tensioner that needs to be losend (sp?)
-Disconnect any wires going to/ coming off the alternator
-Unbolt x number of bolts holding the alternator to the bracket/block
-Remove alternator
-Pay way too much for a new one
-Reinstall
I'm sure it will be easy right?

Yep, easy as pie. The tensioner takes a 3/8" drive, so a good long breaker bar is good for this. 3 bolts hold the alternator (13mm and 15mm, IIRC), and there is a 4 nuts or so on the back holding the wires (10mm and 8mm IIRC). Get the alternator unbolted before taking the wires off the back, makes it easy to get at.

Check out the repair kit for Denso alternators, if you have a Bosch alternator he can help you there too.
