Dead Pedal question.
Alright i was hauling a little over 10 tons across pa and the truck was running a little warm and while going out the interstate it would just die for a second no engine light would come on. It would pick back up and go fine it did this 3 times. I made it out and back fine but i dont know if it will next time and i would realy like to know what is going on? Any help would be great thanks?

cycle the key without starting, I think it was on/off/on/off/on?? On my 02 it would flash codes at the odometer, mine was the dreaded death code. Actually mine did exactly what yours is doing, except on the way back it would not come back by itself, I had to cycle the key off, then on while cruising down the highway at 70mph with a tractor on my trailer.
Got a new lift pump and vp44, so far so good except the factory in tank lift pump sucks....5psi is ok the dealer mechanic says, "dodge says that's good" Ok???

Do you mean the engine would actually quit or just stop responding to the accelerator pressure?
If it quits, could be that you're letting off gas too fast after running hard and causing high pressure lines to vapor lock (or whatever they call that - not the same vapor lock as on gassers but to the same effect).
