Unhappy dead dead instrument cluster

I have a dead instrument cluster. I searched the post here and found what info I could. The truck runs and drives fine but no gauges at all. I pulled the cluster and cleaned and disconnected the battery for a half hour with key off. I found that my a/c clutch fuse under the hood keeps blowing don't know if that is part of the problem. otherwise all other fuses are fine I even pulled them all I even moved the relays around. where to go from here I don't know any ideas?

Not sure if this is similar to our trucks but when I lost the guages in my Tahoe it was a bad ignition switch.

A blowing fuse would be an indicator of something wrong in the electrical wiring though, I'd start there.

Disconnected batteries again this time instrument panel came to life for about 5 minutes. The speedometer went in and out first then rpm then everything else. showing 1693 1648 before gauges went dead again.
