Dana 80-LS- Fluid Change w Synthetic-towing

Thoughts on changing the fluid while doing some heavy towing, with the limited slip? I use the RP 75-140. The book says 15k, others have said up to 30k with synthetic. I know the clutches will leave stuff in the fluid, over time.

Change it when it gets nasty looking or discolored. Syn is good.

I changed mine to synthetic at 110,000. Used Shaffer. 189K on the truck now, tow alot, no problems that I'm aware of.
