coolant loss still
Posted a while back about my head gasket leak but can't find that post .
Anyway, it is still leaking after using the big bottle of bars. What should I do now? More bars ?? besides the obvious- new head gasket.
I have only driven several hundred miles since I put it in and didn't see any leaking then went to Nebraska last weekend and it started again.

I'm more of the liking of Silver Seal... Just seems to work better... But if your head gasket is gone you might as well change it. One day it will fail completely...

Yea, I know it should be replaced BUT I want to try and get a few more miles out of it (another 75,000 ) and then get another engine that's not a.....well you know the number.
What is Silver Seal? Never heard of it.

It common up here in Idaho... I looks like ground up aluminum... Seems to work well for small leaks...
Old timers fix was ground black pepper and a can of condensed milk. I've try the pepper straight up and it works good too. Only problem is when it cools down it will pull the pepper out of the hole or leak. Nothing to bind it to the hole... So I think that's what the condensed milk is for...
