Question Codes Reset

I noticed under FAQ that the APPS reset procedure starts out with the same steps as clearing the codes, so I have a question: Do I have to reset the APPS if I disconnect the batteries for the 30 minutes to clear out the trouble codes? I mean, when I reconnect the batteries, must I then finish the APPS Reset Procedure? Anything else need reset at the same time?

Oh -- I asked this within a Codes thread, but felt it needed a new one instead of hijacking the other. Thanks for any and all comments!

no need to reset the APPS unless you just want too

Cool. I am getting pretty good mileage and throttle response, but Murphy is alive and well in my garage, so I don't want to mess with anything if I don't have to.
