Which one is cheaper and or better for the life of the VP44 and over all life of the truck.

2-stroke! I've been running it for almost 3 years now. I 1st started on my 02, and now my 06. I would recommend that every 4-6 tanks running a quality fuel additive! I recommend Stanadyne!

In the independent test done on the diesel place the 2 stroke oil tested better than power service. Bio-diesel beat them all. I run B10 bio with 16 oz of tcw-3 in it.

Me three on the Wally World two stroke oil, I could see the difference immediately in my truck, I followed what MoparMan 1973 said, 1 oz. per gallon of diesel.

or you can just fill it up with your favorite fuel and drive. hopefully you will outlive the engine.
okay, just to be honest, i received my amsoil bypass filter kit today so this engine should be operational long after diesel fuel is unavailable.

When you drive the fuel sloshes around enough to keep the oil well mixed, I am sure. Once mixed in, it does not easily settle out. I had 5 gallons of DF with 2-cycle oil in it sit in my garage 6 months, untouched; when I proceeded to use the fuel, there was absolutely no settled oil on the bottom, and the fuel was rich blue. Granted, I put probably more than a pint per 5 gallons that time

I think both PS & 2 stroke. The PS helps keep injectors, fuel system clean. 2 stroke lubricates. For what this costs, it is cheap insurance, compared to work done to fix anything on the engine or pumps.
