Changing Xfer Case oil
I'm looking to change all the fluids on my '01 drivetrain.
DCX calls for ATF+4 for the Xfer case oil.
Can't find this stuff at any auto parts store.
Is it only available at the $$$ dealer?
What did the '98 models use in their Xfer cases? (same xfer case, right?)

In a transfer case, I think most any ATF will work. There's no clutches, shifting etc.
That said...Redline C+ meets +4 specs per Redline. That's what's goiing in mine. I get it for < $7 per qt.

i went to my dealer for the +4 and it was only $16/gallon. i was happy. changed the tranny fluid and filter. didnt feel it was worth the headache to put in the wrong stuff.
