Change battery now alarm

I just found came to this forum--

Changed the batteries on 2002 cummins and now alarm sounds, how do get it to turn off

Aftermarket alarm? if you don't have remote you can try pushing valet switch or button usually located under dash drivers side with the key on.

I found a switch but it didn't make a difference. Trucks not gonna start until get it figured out!!!!!!!!

After hooking up the batteries again and connecting negative last, turning key and pressing alarm toggle swith alarm stopped. Thanks for the help.

You might want to contact the manufacturer of the alarm and ask how you can get a remote. Or get hold of the seller. Usually an installer of that particular brand of alarm will get you a remote as long as you prove the vehicle is not stolen.
