Centrifugal Oil Cleaners
Has anyone had any experience with these? Are they worth it? I know the Cummins can go for many miles, but is it worth the extra cost? I think I might get sick of the truck before the motors done!!!!

A bypass oil filter might be more practical especially if could route turbo feed through.
How large is centrifuge? How much plumbing and ect?
Good service goes long way in keeping Cummins alive for as long as you need it.

check another thread on this same site for more on them the problem is they are to restricted in there mounting to practally install them on dodge's the filter companys are just now coming out with bypass filters to reduce soot in the new 14+liter cat and cummins trucks we just ordered a luberfiner Z guard 9750 to try on a 06,this way i can use the same filter on my big and little truck

Well I got one but not to mount on my truck. I am about to fire it up to clean and dewater used cooking oil. I make biodiesel so my main interest is the dewater part but the cleaned oil will also go into a '92 Ford as SVO and also a MBZ as SVO. They work well but my hands on time is limited. I would do a bypass filter for my truck instead as they are a lot easier to mount.
