As soon as I bought my truck (01 CTD 4x4 auto 52,000 miles ) in Jan 05 I replaced my Edit LP with a "carter" and it bolted right up also came with a wiring harness extension peice if needed. No problems yet and now I have approx 100,000 miles now

My Carter was around $200.00, about a month ago. Go ahead and do the pump relocation too..I used the Vulcan system, You'll be glad u did!

I've never paid $200 for a Cummins replacement lift pump.
I ordered one for $140 (it came with the harness for the '99s) and purchased my last one
(when FP readings are 10 at idle, mail order is too slow) across the Cummins parts counter for $170.
