Anyone with long bed carrier bearing..... ever notice side to side play of shaft inside bearing housing?

I was under there greasing my U-Joints and noticed I have 1/4" side to side movement.
I don't remember seeing that before... but it's been 70,000 miles since I changed it or really looked at it closely!

Pretty much normal. The rubber lets it flex a bit. If the rubber is ok not rotted, and no vibrations you should be fine.

Yup mine is the same way... Cant believe it doesn't cause a vibe!

Having no problems or vibration so was not too worried. Just wanted some confirmation that all is OK!
