Cardone Steering Gear leaking question

Cardone Steering Gear leaking question
Does this make sense to anyone here?
The gearbox on this truck is leaking a lot of fluid, but yet its not what you think it should be.
Im dropping 2 gallons of Rotella oil every 400 miles and the only place I see any leaks after powerwashing the complete engine and underside of the truck is the gearbox. Its a pretty good leak, especially when the engine is just at idol. Power steering is full and continues to stay full...
I have followed the lines from the gearbox and 1 line goes to the back of the power steering unit, the other to the master brake cylinder.
How can I have motor oil leaking where the steering colum knuckle connects to the gearbox and out the bottom spline where the steering bars connect to it?
Confused and totally lost!
Thanks for any thoughts....

Got it!..
The leak was beweeen the vacuum pump and where it bolts to the engine. I had lost the bottom bolt from the pump and the engine oil was dripping down onto the gearbox. $3.10 from Ace hardware for a new bolt and my oil leak is no more..
Thanks all...
