I have a holley hp 150 on mine. got it from jegs. $250 iirc. it is a gear rotor pump-but it is not loud at all. been runnin for at least a year. it is a 17psi pump, vs. the holley blue or black (10-13psi). and like those, it is rebuildable

FASS has the new direct replacement fuel pump. That would probably be fine with just your 275 injectors. I think I saw it listed for under $300. It doesn't have the large flow rates like the others. It is still ratted at like 30% more flow than the stock lp. Just another option for you.

Just get the Airdog 100. Those cheaper pumps are not going to help with cavitation. When worrying about the extra cost, you should think about how cavitation reduces the life and performance of expensive components like the injectors and vp44.

Airdog 100
Guy on ebay has the Airdog 100 for $375 after $125 rebate from microsoft live search. I just bought one for my 04. It was a little bit of a pain for the rebate, but only took me like 10 minutes to fill out the form.

Been running my holley black pump for about 2 years now. No problems so far. I run it in series with a replacement in tank pump(warranty when I worked at the dealership). It runs AWESOME!!! My buddy with an 03 HO truck put the real expensive fass setup on his, and it works fine. The only thing he hates about it, he said the replacement filters are like $30 a piece. Just throwing in my two pennys.

Unless your truck is a hot rod I would go with the airtex. I find most of this super duper pumps a bunch of wasted money. Why does one need a pump so big that it could power a rocket ship to the moon. Makes no sense to me. Once you can read through all the myths and mis information let alone mis-diagnostics of the VP44 system you will see the true facts.

Have fun being stranded or swapping out your dead airtex on the side of the road in the dead of winter. Or maybe you'll just keep driving it home with a dead lift pump because it's just a myth that driving with a dead lift pump is one of the main causes of the vp failure.
