Braking problems and best deal on HAWK pads?
Look for some new brake pads. I can replaced my pads last year, and the drivers side is already worn out! Now I'm looking for some better pads and am wanting to pick up a set of Hawk pads. Who has the best deal on them? Do any of the vendors on here carry them?
Also what would cause my left front to wear out WAY faster than the right front? I've always had a problem with my truck pulling to the left and I'm tired of it. I dropped 900 dollars on brake pads, shoes rotors, and calipers last year and my truck still has $)%*%( brakes. Could my brake lines be shot? I have 140k on them.

Sounds like a bad caliper. Make sure the pins are clean and allow the caliper to slide. A sticky caliper piston will cause the brake to hang and rub on the rotor.

You might have sticky caliper pins
Check your Caliper pins/bolts!
If your Caliper bolts are corroded it will cause your brakes to drag.
If they are corroded you need to lube them more often.

Clean them up as good as possible before greasing them, keep the grease off of the caliper/brake lining.

I agree with the others, sounds like a sticky caliper. Many auto parts stores will have something called brake caliper grease. It is high temp rated and wont get thin and run off or dry out when subjected to the extreme heat. I just put new pads on the front the other day. The grease from the last time was still there and looking good after 60k. Might even be worth getting a couple new slide bolts.
