Bottom end rebuild?

Just wondering when I should be thinking about having the bottom end gone thru? Running Rotella and fleetguard filter. Been changing oil/filter every 5k but have gone as long as 7k a few times since I got her @ 64k in oct '99. I was thinking of 350k.

What do you think?

Like the saying goes, if it ain't broke, don't fix it. It can go farther than 350k, look at Tow Monster's sig. He was at 370k a while back, I think.

Re:Bottom end rebuild?

I went the other day to buy some rods and mains for my 12 valve with 345k and the guy told me I was wasting my time and money.. These things should be good for around 500k pretty easy, the only thing I would worry about is the lift pump if it goes bad your done!! Get your wallet open..
