What should I be seeing for readings?

WOT, I am at about 24 pounds of boost? I tapped into the intake via the plug on the DS, back end of the engine? Since the gauge is 0-35 psi, I assume that 24 is a good number. My mechanic friend who helped me put it in (ok.. I helped HIM) was unfamiliar with the readings as well. He's used to 10-14 pounds seen in car turbos.

Also, the EGT needle is a busy little bugger. Cruising at 74 on the interstate unloaded I was up in the 800 degree range or so. At idle this morning, was somewhere in the 250 - 300 range?
Like everyone has posted you got a bit to much boost.. I would assume the wastegate it sticking closed...

Normal Boost should be about 18-20 PSI and I normally will see about 18-19 on mine.

You EGT sounds about right for this. Out here in the hills I can see 800-1000*F at 55-75 MPH...

Beware you can run the EGT Temps (1000 - 1200*F) up quickly running to high of a gear (pulling with low RPM's) for a small hill.... I wonder how I found this out...
