Red face Block Heater

Hello Folks,

Question here about block heaters. Right now it is 14 degrees over here in New England. The block heater has not been plugged in on my baby because I have been away. Now the question; How long should I keep the heater plugged in before trying to start the Cummins? No manuals here and no experience with cold weather starts here. Any one out there have any suggestions to offer? Thanks in advance...........

My Best, Greg

2-3 hours will get it up to temp.
Anything more and you're just keeping it at that temp, at the expense of your electric bill.
