Question - I saw all this crap on the bottom of my fuel cannister. I haven't taken a good look at where the fuel comes in vs. where it exits to go to the VP44?

Does the fuel ENTER the bowl through the INSIDE of the filter meaning all that crud at the bottom was going into my VP44 .... or does it EXIT the bowl to the VP44 through the inside of the filter meaning that the crud was being prevented from going into the VP44.

I have gotten 98% of the replacement parts to replace the entire stock lift pump and filter assembly with a 10 micron system. I am going to replace the injectors too, but am worried that I may have clogged up the high pressure lines that go from the VP44 to the injectors????

Check where the water drain is located inside the filter bowl. That will be where the bad stuff will reside. The other side of the filter will be the good stuff.
