Some of the "bling bling" on the truck. coating done by HPC. They are next door to my shop.

Trash it looks like you caught the leak fairly early. When mine leaked there I was running at the track and the oil must of been coming out fast as the whole engine compartment got lubed. To Oring or Fire ring that is the question...

OPIE, I was lucky to catch it early the motor only ran 2 min max after it happend. my plans are to o-ring with new head bolts. I still trying to locate some place to do the o ring job. I am having a hard time finding some place local to o ring the head. So if anybody out their knows some one in utah lets hear it.

I don't know how much new bolts cost, but if it where me I would go with studs. I never liked the Cummins three step torq then 1/4 turn stretch. Especailly when you have to do it in an engine compartment. IMO the studs are a higher and more uniform torq and you get to retoque them after running the engine. If your going to oring you should go all the way.
