Big "jump" in power (and smoke) sometimes in take-off when just started?
Hey all this was originally posted by Dave88LX in the 12V forum, I replied then realized
it was not the 24V forum.
Anyway, I've had the truck for a month but this morning after first start up
it was screaming out of the gate. It was kind of crazy, really quick spool up more smoke. Honestly I was like ***? I was half tempted to see if the CTD fairy put a chip in it over night
By the time I drove the 15 miles to work it had calmed down and was back to normal
Anyone ever experience this before? I'm doing a oil change in a few days and I'll get a new FF in there to. I've visually checked the cooler boots and they look like they've recently been replced. Any other ideas?
