My vote would go for 01.5, but I might be biased

I thought 00 still used the HX-35 on the auto and they switched to the HY35 in 01, but I might be wrong.

My '02 doesn't have any of that stuff, but that's fine with me. I like my stripper (crank windows, rubber floor, basic cloth seats, etc.). And I like being able to see those massive overload springs!!

my 99 has the hoodliner and rear cupholders under the center front seat. drum rear bakes of course though which work great with the cylinder upgrade.

I've had 2700 lbs in the bed of mine. Wonder how many kegs that would equal? More than I can drink in a week, I'm thinking.
2700 lbs...That would be two kegs and enough ice to chill them properly. I say two because you need one with the tap on the right side and one with the tap.......................................run through the sliding window into the cab
Back when I was young, stupid and broke I bought an old Ford Ranchero and modded the bed with an ice dam and tie downs for a keg. I'm not young anymore

Class-action lawsuit against DC on the part of all those in '01 and '02 who didn't get their hoodliners and cupholders?

Sure

I think my 02 may be the "newest" VP44 truck here on DTR. Built in mid- July, 2002. See my gallery for MDH sticker.

I don't have a lot of extras either.

Only issues I've had:
1) didn't come with 700hp from the factory
2) VP died at 40k with good FP the whole time, warranty covered
3) Back up light switch on tranny, warranty covered
4) Sticker between front and read doors peeled after carwash. Warranty covered, and they PAINTED it, a permanent fix (well, maybe not , knowing Dodge's rep on paint quality).

Every other problem I've had with the truck is directly attributable to ME causing it.

Talking

Mines got all the goodies, rear disc brakes, grab handles, cup holders in the rear of the quad cab, and yes cup holders on the tailgate when you fold it down....Factory bed liner...

It could be yours for the low low price of $13500....

2002. It could very well be the last year Dodge makes an honest to goodness, genuinely, real.... truck.
