ball joint tool
the tool warehouse is out of the 8031 ball joint puller/install tool
can anyone recomend another tool that they have used sucessfully to do this repair- i do not want to buy the snap on version for 675.00- too much for an ocasional use tool- i am not a mechanic

if anyone is looking, i found them at usatoolwarehouse.com for 285.00 minus a 10.00 coupon on orders over 250.00 and free shipping for a total of 275.00-

... I hear ya, for a while there, I was doing a ton of ball joints at work, so I figured I'd buy me my own set, bought the Snappy's and have used them once since I got em over a year ago.
That OTC set on usatool is a good set, a lot of the guys have OTC. That looks like a pretty good set, my boss bought his otc set years ago, and has had to buy adaptors ever since to get all the ones I have in my set.
