B&M trany drain plug

B&M trany drain plug
I'm doing first fluid and filter change at 30k today. Bought B&M drain plug to install while pan was off. Brief instructions on package don't mention it, but would it be a good idea to use loctite on the nut (inside pan) for the drain bolt (not plug itself)? Any input would be appreciated. 2002 47re 4x4. Thanks Matt

Well I used loctite and change and install went fine. This morning I go out and spot a new drip spot on the driveway. Fluid is leaking out of the drain plug . Wouldn't have thought I would have need to teflon tape plug bolt, wouldn't want bits running around the inside of the trany. Maybe I'll see if I can't get another quarter turn. Any thoughts? Thanks, Matt

Yes there is, but it was leaking out around threads, jus an occasional drip, of the plug. Did what I should have done first thing and got another 3/4 turn on it, seems to have done it. Thanks.
