APPS reset question

BTT, She tossed another P0121 at me this morning... pedal never died. Might be down to adjusting or replacing (this ain't going to happen soon). This is my daily driver.
Called a half a dozen Mopar Shops and the local Cummins shop, none have a shorter lead time than at least 2 weeks (some shops said 4 weeks at best)!
Dealer - $374
Cummins shop - $360
The APPS cost roughly 1% of the retail price of the truck I paid! Albiet an important 1%, with the number of failures and non-availability of replacements somebody should have gotten a clue.
I'm sure they'd happily sell me a new rig.... but I'm afraid of Rattle Separation Anxiety.

I gave up messing with the dumb thing and actually located a new one local to me... problem gone... but now I have the old one to tear down and see if there is anything internal that can be cleaned or whatever to restore it.
