Anyone Know how to clear the fault codes?

Brothers truck set some codes the other day when hooking up an EZ.

Does anyone have a computer around DFW to clear them?

Check with your local auto parts chain. (Auto Zone, etc)
Most will have a code reader, and some will reset codes for free.

The Superchips tuner will apparantly clear codes.

Disconnect both Negative posts on the batteries, try to start the truck twice, then plug them back in, and the codes should dissapear.

BTW, How did you manage to set some codes while installing the EZ? Turn the ignition on while a sensor was unplugged?

Hope this helps,

Remember the good codes go away the bad ones come back

Merrick

Well my brother decided to hook up the EZ when I wasn't around and was so focused on trying the "new toy" out that he forgot to plug into the MAP sensor.

I may get AutoZone or someone I know with a reader to clear the codes.

I talked with Wes and he said he had one. I may try to hook up with him sometime.
