Anybody that can check out florida truck??
I am working on buying a 99 SLT quad long box auto 4x4 it seems to be very clean and straight just want to be sure it is as good as owner says it is he is not a fellow member here. He says everything works and the front end is good tires are about half gone the drivers seat has the usual open seam the miles are 220k the gear is 3.55 good paint and no dash cracks.The truck is stock no mods
The truck is located in the cocoa/orlando area.
Everybody give me your input on what you would value this at buying locally there
Thank you for your input and any help you may provide

If it's well cared for and owner as some history to show maintanence then I would say 9-11k. Maybe 11.5 if its mint with no oil leaks but with 200K make sure the VP and or LP is check and has either been replaced.
I went to buy a silver 99 just north of Cocoa with that turned out to be a nightmare and was nothing like described over phone conversations. I wasted a rental car and 1 day of work. becareful is all I can say.
That truck ran good but got hot as soon as you got to 40 mph then cool down right away. Like if timing was messed with or if it had some water cooling crack or something. It was rammed underneath front with a stump of a large tree and smelled like an ashtray!
Good luck though!
After looking for my brother since 9/06, I think we finally found a 2002 thats low miles and clean in the low teens. Dont get desperate and buy a headache, do your homework and look hard!

That is why i would like someone to look at it in person i am trying to do my homework i don't want to go on a joy ride from michigan to florida and back empty handed. The truck is clean and dry underneath and does not appear just washed up. Still working on getting any history of service and repair the truck is green so it is not the one you looked at. Thanks for the input

Yea, I go that direction at least twice a week. If you'll send me a regular e-mail, with the details, I'll try and see it when its convient for the owner of the truck during the week. Use my business email address;
MarServs@Bellsouth.Net
If you would let him know as well. I'll give you my cell phone number. Will get some pics and sent them to you.
