Airdog system ?
OK folks, I have decided to move forward with the install of the airdog system. My main reason for doing this is to help preserve the VP44, and I had a Fass system on my 03 that worked well when I started adding mods.
From the folks that have done this conversion, what are the pro's and con's of installing this system ?
Will I have to take any special precautions, or alter my maintenance routines ?
Will this effect my fuel gauge or when I should fill up ?

With a long bed you shouldn't have any problems mounting the AD.
for using the existing tank pickup you might need to drop the tank or raise the bed.
Make you have a fuel pressure gauge..a warning light too..
no changes to maintenance..I just change mine the pressure start to drop. keep a spare set with you and the tools to change them.

Hardest part is getting the " quick clip " loose from the fuel line on top of the tank. DON'T BREAK THE PLASTIC CLIP. If you do you will have heck to pay to get the new line secure with no air leaks. Rest of the process is a snap. I used a pair of pliers to get my clip released and then disconected. A number of ways to get it released just do a search and you can find other methods.
