Airdog 100 Install Questions
First off, I want to give kudos to the DTR store. I ordered my AD100 yesterday and it was sitting on my door step when I got home today.
In my current configuration, I have a Walbro pump mounted on the frame with a big line kit. This kit instructed me to cut the hard line coming from the tank and hose clamp the rubber line to the hard line. From the pump a big line runs to the factory ff canister. From the ff canister to the VP, I installed a test port T. I also have a tapped elbow at the VP.
Question 1: At the tank, should I cut the AD100 line and attach it to the hard line? Or should I run the line to the connector on top of the tank? How hard is it to disconnect / connect to the tank without dropping the tank or lifting the bed?
Question 2: Should I run the new AD100 line from the pump directly to my test port T, bypassing the ff canister? Are there any benefits to keeping my ff canister inline? If so, should I leave the filter in the canister or get rid of it?

are you going to run both pumps in parallel?
if not, why not just connect the AD where the Walbro is connected?
you could leave the factory filter in place even though its not needed.

unless you have small hands its hard to get to the top of the tank. I managed but it was a pain.

No, I'm not going to run both pumps. I'm sick of dealing with fp issues with these cheap pumps. I was just trying to explain my current configuration and to ask for advice on the best solution for what I have.
I'm not sure I could use the same lines since the AD has the quick connect fittings. I'll have to think about this and see what parts I would need to pull that off.
I guess I could try disconnecting the line from the tank. If it becomes a PITA, i could just leave the hard line in place and continue hose clamping the robber line to the hard line
