air bag light on
not sure if i'm posting this in the right 2nd gen section, but i'm sure the moderators will move it if needed.
anyway, my grandpa has an '02 3500 and his air bag light recently came on for no reason and it stays on as long as the ignition is switched on. i believe he checked the fuse in the panel and it wasn't blown. maybe one of the air bags is disconnected due to a loose connection? that's the only thing i can think of. what's usually the diagnosis for this?

If the airbag circuit is open the computer would turn on the air bag light.
A bad sensor or a bad connection can also cause this as well
