After F.A.S.S.

I was curious if the stock fuel filter could be removed after installing FASS system. I noticed two electronic connections on filter, if removed are there any side effects?
Thank's
Bret

I would assume that would be the "water in fuel" sensor wiring. Not sure if it is reused with the FASS system.

When we instaled my FASS, all that stuff went away. You do lose your WIF light and the ability for the fuel heater grates to work. Some people have connected the FASS through the original filter just to have the WIF and the heater.
