ac by pass need help!

Need to get the truck going ASAP....can i just put a non ac belt on with no problems? Looks like the ribbed side of the belt will be against the smooth side of the tensioner if routed the wa the diagram says under the hood....the tensionr looks like its in a differnet place also....please help!!

I don't want to steer ya in the wrong direction, but with my 12v I ran a non a/c belt, but had to remove the compressor. I would think it's the same on the 24v, assuming that's the truck you have???

Yes 24v.....ive been reading up on it and people say they are leaving them on?? But they are saying you need to move the tensioner or something?

On my 12 valve, I used a non AC belt to bypass my AC.
Worked fine. There was one pulley thr was smooth and grooved side of belt was riding on it. No problem.
