99 dodge acceleration problem

In my 99 dodge i have recently ben experiencing alot of acceleration problems. it now takes me a good while to get up to speed gettin on the highway. it just sits at about 22 to 2300 rpm. dont matter if i pedal to the medal or just drive normal. also sometimes when its cold it will go up to 2200 rpm gettin up to about 45mph and starts bouncin inbetween 2200 and 2000. and i got a recent fuel drop of 2.5mpgs wich i originaly thought was because i just got it straight piped and thought that i was just layin on it more to hear the sound but i dont think it should have dropped quite that much. let me know if you got any ideas or suggestions.

1. check your fuel psi provided by the LP. 2. check any codes present. It sounds like your injector pump is going out but I could be wrong. Diagnosis isn't as easy as 1,2,3 so complete your signature to help us out in identifying your type of vehicle mods/issues....welcome to dtr.

I thought the same thing and even after installing a new apps, I still found my dead pedal issue to be the IP.

IF you have an automatic tranny something could be going south. Although the VP's die regularly.
