99' Cummins ECM connection
Hello, I was wanting to know if anyone could tell me what type of connector that my ECM is supposed to plug into. I have access to insite and the Inline I need, but I need to know what kind of connector i need, I think it is a 3-pin but im not sure, I found what looks to be the right connector near the Cummins ECM but only 2 wires going into the plug. Can someone help me with this? Thanks

That is correct.
The Dodge/Cummins has a 50 pin connector that insite cannot connect too. The typical Cummins ECM connector has a 100 pin connector.

I cant remember which is for which year , but first you will need InlineII with Insite , it will not communicate with the InlineI , look at the front around your vacumn pump and there should be a 3 pin connector in triangle shape and a two pin weatherpak connector which is your power connector for the InlineII power, if that is not there , you should look back over by the lift pump and find a 2 pin or 3 pins weatherpak connector there for com.
