I have seen previous posts from people regarding a front end vibration on our 4x4 trucks that DC usually cant find. I may have figured out what may be the culprit. I had to do a U-joint job on my front driveshaft the other day, and while removing the old joints, knocked a balancing weight off of my front driveshaft (it was held on by 3 really small spot welds). Upon close inspection I realized that my driveshaft had 2 weights totalling 2.5 ounces on one side of the front of the driveshaft. As little as I had to try to knock this weight off, I could easily see it throwing the weight off during normal driving conditions. I drove the truck after replacing the u-joints and without replacing the weight. It vibrated like crazy around 63-70 mph. I came home and re-tacked the weight back on and the vibration totally stopped.

With that much weight required to balance the driveshaft, could it be that some of the trucks made it out of the factory without the driveshaft being balanced?? I do not think anyone would even think about their front driveshaft being the culprit, especially when not in 4wd (except that the driveshaft always spins).

It's a possibility. Mine was attributed to my track bar drop bracket on my lift being extremely loose. Some are caused by shot track bars, alignment, bad shocks, bad steering stabilizers, bad tires, you name it.
