What is Evans Cool?? I just had a system flush and some cooling additive from NAPA. I was just curious.

I think you're righ, Dr. Evil (as much as I hate to say it ), but I think I'm going to make the move to Evans.

53 Block King, Evans cool is a substitute for anti-freeze, which is used in a pressureless cooling system. Check out www.evanscooling.com it'll tell you all about it. With our "53's", it's a good move to HOPEFULLY enhance the life of the block. Hope this helps!

You cant miss the big number 53.....numbers are about an inch high and cast right into the block. You can get some excellent info here (plus see my 53) here:

man i looked and looked after reading all the posts and looking at the pics but couldnt find it anywhere. i even took the nut off the harness guide and looked behind there. i'll look again tomorrow.

kipo, its real hard to miss it....Mines near the front of the engine on both sides.
