5 Star Service???
The Problem... Flipped ignition on/off 3 times (learned it here).
Code P0480 comes up.
Called Stealers Service Mgr. I told him truck was throwing code.. he said "how would you know that?". I explained the on/off procedure, he had no idea you could do that.
Anyway, truck goes in Wed (needed 1st oil change anyway), in the meantime, does anyone know what P0480 means?
Thanks guys

try www.troublecodes.net and follow the chrysler links to a list of codes for your year and body style.

Thanks Guys. Found the codes listed at http://www.getdidi.com/LookupCode.asp. 0480 is a cooling fan circuit problem. I guess the Service Mgr will tell me this Wed.

I gave up years ago on trying all the "at home" methods of extracting codes. That is why we have the DRB
Oh..by the way your clutch fan has a speed sensor mounted on it. Are the wires still in tact? or did the fan get em!

Dropped truck off Wed Night. Told Service writter I wanted oil change and Code looked at. Guy writes "Check engine light on". I say, no, the light is not on, but it's throwing code. Again, how do you know?. Took him outside and showed him how to check. He goes back inside and tells Mgr, hey, did you know you can check codes on these things with key? Oh brother!!! Anyway, go back Thursday, guy says they couldn't find anything wrong. At least the code is gone. I had them put "Vehicle is safe to drive" on the receipt. Oil change w/filter was only $20.00!
