5.9 oil pan leak @ drain plug

I'm the 2nd owner of truck, and have a small drip from oil drain plug. Replaced orig bolt with a new one from Geno's. Torqued to specs- still dripping!!! It's not a huge leak just enough to leave a small spot 3" over night. At next oil change I plan on using a high temp red Rtv on the poly washer to help seal it up.

Any ideas or other that have fixed their leak?

Some vehicles use a copper washer. I forget if the Ram has one or not. (Went with synthetic & it is time to change the oil.)

Get a Fumoto "finger touch" from Genos. That'll end tightening and untightening the stocker. If I didn't tighten mine on the '98.5 just right it would leak. Overtighten it and it felt like it was going to snap off when I tried to remove it. I just like this Fumoto. Seals great.
