5.9 cummins, intermittent issue
I have a 1999 24 valve with 336,832 on the dash with an intermittent problem which led it to a no start, before the no start, the truck would fire right up, idle fine but it would start bucking at around 25 mph, it had no set schedule, whenever it felt like it, it would do it, a simple on and off would fix it until the next time I turned it off. Thinking it was injectors I ran hydraulic fluid in the tank and the problem disappeared for almost a week but then the issue came back and since then I've let it sit. And now for some reason the lift pump doesnt come on even when you bump the starter and only the 3rd and 4th injectors are getting diesel. I should mention that all 3 pumps I have are new, any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you

Thank you for your response, at idle it wont set cel but after driving it set a p0230 and p0216, transfer pump and vp44 codes, I do have fuel to my fuel filter but I still dont understand how come my lift pump is not turning on anymore, I did get it to start but I had to undo the bolts from the injector lines

0230 lift pump circuit out of range will lead directly to 0216 vp44 timing circuit issue, due to improper fuel flow causing erratic pump timing. Injectors will do exactly nothing to correct this.
You stated that your lift pump is not turning on, now if this were me,that is where you start looking, not at the other end of the spectrum. Figure out why your lift pump is not running. Check for power and ground at the lift pump connector. If you have both, and they are good, then the pump might be toast. Change it and away you go. Otherwise, report back and we'll take some more steps. The other thing you could do, if you wish, is ignore the advice given while throwing parts at it. That is what we call education tax.
good luck
