I have the same thing(comes w/ straight flow muffler) except I didn't see the point in putting on the tip. Fit up very good.
Very reasonable sound, unless you want it loud. The cops around here always look at me but have not been pulled over, since i let off when i see i have their attention. oppss.haha

Now my grandpa had a shop weld in new(straight) pipe 3in for the stock when it rusted part way out, and i can hear it 500yds plus when he fires it up!! Way louder than mine.

I've got a 4" mbrp turbo back as well. Beautiful sound when pulling on the highway, nothing sounds sweeter, no drone and a slight turbo whistle at idle. Have not had any sound issues with the police, especially with all the harleys running around with open pipes...

Hey 10-95,

Could you post a pic of what the tailpipe looks like exiting from under the truck? This looks like the system I have been searching for....not too loud, straight through design, and the price is right! Just want to make sue it looks decent. You know, gotta consider those extra show points and everything........

Thanks!

Rob

Mission Accomplished.......

Got my Dieselshop.com 4" exhaust yesterday afternoon and installed it last night. Took a little fussin to get everything installed. But, sounds great and now my Diesel can breath a little easier.

The Sound? Nice mellow rich low tone. Neighbors shouln't ***** about it. (that was my mission). Thanks 10-95 for the info and video clip.

For $290 delivered......nice deal.

How is the incab noise? I dropped my system from the resonator back on my way to ak a couple of years ago and I NEED to get a new system on it soon. The resonator now has a hole in it and it is loud now. Thanks for any input.

How is the incab noise?

Frankly, the noise in the cab seems the same as the stock system I had. I really don't hear any difference. However, I do notice that during climbs the rig seems to glide up the hill. First tank of fuel looks like .5-.8 mpg better.

This is the lowest cost system I have seen. I have been shopping for a few months. $290 shipping included. Not bad.....

I had a 5" flo pro exhuast put on and It will shake the windows of cars when your next to them or passing. I'd go with a banks 4'' single cat back, just leave the muffler on. They do however sound better straight piped. just my two cents

I'll see what I can do. Might be a little while. We've been really busy at work and I even had to turn down some OT to fix my lift pump.........

No hurry...... trust me, I understand having limited free time.

This exhaust looks to be a nice set up. Fairly straight forward install no?
