First did you buy it new?
3/36 is the base. Depending on if you are the first buyer and when you bought it would determine if you have a 7/100 limited powertrain.

Dodge started the 7 year warranty in the late 02 model year. Mine was delivered in March 02 and has the 3/36 warranty. Have a dealer plug your VIN # into their computer to find out what you have.

My 2002 was ordered in June 2001 and delivered August 15, 2001 with a 3/36 warranty. My understanding is that the very late 2002s were sold with a 7/100 warranty as an inducement to move them out before the 3rd generation 2003s hit the lots.

Most likely you should have the 7/100 limited powertrain. Yes call your dealer and have them run your VIN. On my print out that my dealership gave me under the section that says warranty coverage summary the bottom line says that i have the 7/100 limited powertrain. I believe you will be responsible for a 100.00 deductable. Here is a heads up your deductable is per visit so if you have any other items that are covered with issues you only pay the one deductable per visit so it also is covered.
