2001 HO cuts out while driving (no codes)
Engine cuts in and out while driving. It acts like the ignition key is being turned off and on while driving. There are no stored codes.
While reading the Snap-On handheld diagnostic tool while driving, there is a two volt difference between ECM and battery voltage. The ECM reads 14 volts and the battery voltage reads 12 volts. Both of these readings are being picked up through the diagnostic link connector. With a DVOM hooked directly to the battery, it reads 14 volts which is a two volt difference between the DVOM asnd handheld tool readings.
With ignition on and engine off, the voltages all read battery voltage and are the same. When the engine is started is when the two voltage differences begin between the ECM and battery readings.
Any help and or opinions would be appreciated. I may have forgotton some pertinant information. If so I can provide it if necessary.
The main complaint is that the truck intermittantly cuts out while driving and I am unable to duplicate the concern.
Thanks,

Do you get a wait to start engine light? I just had mine do that and it ended up being the ECM. But the thing with mine was it gave out around 8 codes for various sensors voltage to high. But after a new ECM no more bucking. I had all my stuff done at the dealer. I know it's $$$ but I have 3 year 36000 warranty on it.

Does it act like it has a "dead throttle pedal"...seems to go to a minimum power then it comes back like nothing happened?
