1999 Ball Joint HELP
Sooo, I decided to replace my ball joints. Drivers side were replaced at 75K(upper and lower). Passenger never replaced. Total 115K miles.
I ordered XRF, pressed old ones out no problem, lowers went in easy.
HOWEVER, i can't figure out the uppers. The new ball joints cam with the c-clip which looks like it should be pressed in enough for the c-clip to attach....
but, it won't press in past flush.
I I noticed when they replaced my drivers upper, they pressed it flush, and did not put in the c-clip because it sat flush....
soo, any ideas? Should i just press flush and leave it?????

normally if it comes with a clip its got to be in for safety purposes. But......lots of ball joints are just press fit no clips. i personally would contact xrf and question them on it. i would run them in my truck just because i know how tight they press in
