12V vs 24V vs CR head
Trying to get some clarification on some crucial aspects of these heads.
Will they all bolt to a 12V block?
I know the 12V's intake is cast as part of the head. Is it a separate (removable) piece on the 24V? The CR?
The common rail injectors, do they fit on a 98.5-02 24V head? I'm thinking no, they are special to the 03+ heads.

24v has the intake manifold cast into the head, same as the 12v. As I understand, the CR has an extra/missing an oil or coolant passage, but can be made to work on a 12/24v block. I've also heard ISB injectors will fit into a CR head, but not positive.
