02 3500 front wheel bearing
I have an on '02 3500 2wd with a terrible roaring noise coming from the right front. It gets better when I turn to the right and worse when I turn to the left. I'm fairley sure it is the wheel bearings.
The problem is when I went to find them. Everywhere I have went to has said $250+, and that is for a 4wd hub assembly. Nobobdy can find a listing for 2wd, whether hubs or bearings. Are they the same?

One more thing.
Prepare yourself for a fight to get the original one out.
01's and 02's are very tight.
I had to cut my ball jionts out and had a shop press them out.
One was something like 19,000 psi! The other was just a little less.
My nephews 03 we added a fair amount of heat and got it with a BFH.

No, IF the hubs come out easy. You need to check the ball joints ans all while under though.
Do a search on the replacement of the hubs.
I'd suggest you spray them with good penetrating oil for several days. And some suggest you loosen the bolts (4 of them) on the hubs, 1/2 to 1 turn and drive it easy for a day at slow speeds to help loosen them.

use the power steering system to press them out...
if the 2wd is the same as a 4wd, back all four bolts out ~1/4". use a socket and extension (preferrably one you dont care about using again) and place it on the head of the bolt. then turn the wheel. you will have to pull kind of hard, but it wont hurt anything... except the socket...

Like Steven said, IF you do have problems get a 2x4 and cut it down to fit between the hub and the frame and have a helper get in the truck and turn into the 2x4. Then you can take a BFH and get the bearing out. I did it on my rig both ways. 1st was beating with a hammer for what seemed like forever and it came out. The second way was with a 2x4 and my daughter, took about 5 minutes to loosen it and get it out.
Not sure if you'll need it on the 2wd or not but if you do you can do it like this.
