$70 factory lift pump info from TDR
Was surprised not to have seen this info on DTR. PN #4090046 is a safety "Campaign" lift pump for $65.40.
Something about the pumps in school buses not having a bypass valve in them so if the LP died, the engine could potentially stall with a busload of kids in it.
Seems to be the same pump as our stock lift pumps and even comes with new fittings and such.

I Have Been Running This Pump For About A Month Now. I Love It. Especially The Price. I Have A Stock Truck But I Am Getting 16-17psi At Idle And It Will Not Drop To Under 14psi. Also I Guess It Isn't Totally Stock Because I Added A Vulcan Big Line/relocation Kit At The Same Time. Good Luck Trying To Get A Pump. Most Cummins Dealers Are Catching On To What Us Dodge Guys Are Doing. These Pumps Are Specifically Meant As A Waranteed Part On Buses, Emergency Vehicles--blah Blah Blah. I Spent A Lot Of Time On The Phone And Talked To At Least 10 Different Cummins Retailers Before I Got My 3. Most Cummins Parts Outlets Wanted An Engine Number And Would Only Sell 1 Per Engine Number.
